Benny Logos and the Verses are doing something rather unique as of recent. They re putting the bible to music and creating songs called Scripture Songs. I have to admit, my first impression or thought of this concept was kind of negative. In fact I considered it a pretty hokey idea, that is until I visited Benny’s page and decided to give his music a listen. To put it simply, I was surprised, and pleasantly so.Today on The Virtual Pew Live radio program I will be interviewing Benny and will be talking about his goals, his bands goals, and getting some of his thoughts on The Bible, and of course, Music. While there are a number of artists out there doing this form of music, I personally haven’t heard any better. I encourage you to listen, even call in to the program.
